So, let's play, shall we?
This first round of layout options comes from an even amount of the two different types of blocks. Opposite corners make for a dearth of layout options.
One
Two
All the blocks are made from Cosmic Burst by Mark Cesarik and some friends playing along. See the first two posts in the series here and here.

These are such a delicious burst of color!! I LOVE them---I especially love Settings 1 and 3. :D
I like # 1, but how would you sew it? I can't figure it out...
I love both one and three.
Oh they look all good. I like the deep colors. And most I like option 3. I can not explain why exactly. A little bit like butterfys dancing on snow....
Beautiful blocks!
I like setting 1 best! :-)
Sorry, I've just posted anonymously, serious misclicking in the afternoon...^^
Your blocks are really beautiful, and I like setting 1 best.
Best wishes!
i like 5. it emphasizes that this is sort of a wonky drunkard's path block.
I love setting three! :D
I like #1! It would be fun to braid up the blocks :)
1 or 3. This is going to be fun!
How cool that the rectangle shape opens everything up. I'm liking this! one, three, five???
Amazing all the options from the single block!
I like #3 the best, but they're all fantastic!
I'm loving #3 as well. And do you see the (old?) CBC logo in the last one?! Love it!!!
Option 1. I don't think any of the others come close.
I love #3!
so fun and fresh!
I vote for # 3.
I'm in love with #3. I have to say the sixth one reminds me of the CBC logo. :-)
I love #1 - can't wait to see how you quilt it!
I like them all, but I think #s 3 and 5 are my favorites.
#3. I'm totally sold on #3.
#3 is my fave! Very cute blocks.
No. 3 for me please. Did you try to get the CBC logo going? And did you know that there used to be a butterfly in that logo?
