Just For Fun

Sometimes we need a little bit of silly in our lives. Just simple, make you smile quietly or laugh ridiculously loud silly.  Amanda Jean and I were chatting about shoes and quilts the other day, after she posted this photo.  We joked that we should start and Flickr group for photos of just shoes and quilts.  It seemed silly but fun, so we did it.  The group is called Toe Catchers.  I'm either terrible witty or just terrible. You can join the fun here.

So today during naptime I'll be taking a few more pics to add to the mix.  I think I could have some pretty good combinations - I have lots of colourful shoes. Please post your own.

I have the same shoes that are in the picture! I got them for $3 and did a happy dance right in the middle of the store. The birds (toucans?) make me happy.

silly is good... and oh my! you're littlest one is growing fast. Isn't it funny how quirky kids can be?

Ahaha! How funny and silly. (I always have pictures of my toes in my quilt photos- I am not big on wearing shoes. I'll have to paint the ol' toenails and stage a few photos soon.)

We should all have more silly in our lives! I just wish I could get these two to have nap time at the same time!

I'm with Amy. My shoes are too boring for this, though I think I have some quilt shots with a prego belly peaking out!

Love the greens. Can't wait to see how you quilt this. Or is this the grass quilt?

Love the idea of the group. Now I don't have to try to keep my toes out.
