Sounds perfect to me -- I find the busier I am and the more things I have to finish, then the more I DO finish. You actually have a lot of things on your list that overlap my own 2014 goals. Cheers to the NEW YEAR! I bought both your books in December so would love to see you complete the goal for a third. :) And I am sewing your "Oh Canada" pattern as a Quilt of Valour. I finally organized all my scraps by colour and pulled them out of my stash... following your advice! It was a great afternoon activity with my 5-year-old daughter.Anitahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13126307820923149514noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7593114644785141187.post-56974381548055990292014-01-07T20:04:17.890-07:002014-01-07T20:04:17.890-07:00Good luck, Cheryl. Those are big goals, but they are very do-able (besides the strat and FINISH the new book - that's intense!).
Teaching the girls to sew will be a big scary challenge, but think how happy they will be once they have this learning!! And they will get to look back on it forever and remeber that their Mummy taught them :-) I know I still remember my Mum teaching me how to measure and cut. How to lay out a pattern. How to pin. What a straight sema looks like (that one I'm still working on).
Good luck for 2014!
E xxErin Quinnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09733465690557189717noreply@blogger.com
