Personally, I don't think you can go wrong no matter what you do with fabrics like this. Have it quilted with a water type quilting and it'll be gorgeous no matter what!!!carolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17801265907110578386noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7593114644785141187.post-63026155095015199672009-08-11T00:33:16.563-06:002009-08-11T00:33:16.563-06:00I kinda like this one and 3.

When I squint at it and hold my fingers up like a picture frame (just like photographers do, although I am no photographer, mind you), I can get a better view of it. It cuts off all the ragged edges.
Thanks for the fun. I...I think I like this one better than v 3 & 4. I've been pondering this conundrum (in my dreams?!?), and a variation of v.3 is what I've come up with! In my dreams, all the strips are aligned along the length of the piece (rather than the width), and the pieces are placed so the breaks are higgldy piggly (I seem to like that term ;-)), kind of like you were laying uneven sized bricks. Does that make any sense at all? That way you'll be keeping the integrity of the wavy intention you originally had?!?

I'm an Aussie country girl at heart, and my thoughts of water tend to include little creeks, gentle river rapids and majestic waterfalls :-), and the beaches we spent time at while I was growing up were swimming beaches where the water behaved somewhat predictably! It seems that everyone's experience with water is influencing our comments - what sort of water do you dream of?dillpicklehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10167045189440606367noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7593114644785141187.post-55927499301237424492009-08-07T14:44:47.276-06:002009-08-07T14:44:47.276-06:00Can I just come over and we can play?
