Ahhh...

There is that expression about not knowing what you've got until it's gone. Turns out I didn't know I needed a vacation until I had one.

  2. Oh, that looks so, so good! It's making me excited for the winter getaway that we've planned (it only took of five years of suffering through the grey here to realize that our spirits need such a thing).

    And yes, you little one isn't so little anymore! Geez what a cutie!

  10. Oh how very true that we don't know we need a break until "forced" to take one. A beach right now sounds wonderful. I'd even give up the quilting books and sketchbook.
